A section of Brookman Road, which runs from Willunga Hill to Meadows, will be closed for a bridge upgrade from tomorrow, Monday 1 May.
The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) will upgrade the culvert on Brookman Road, next to the junction with Hammersmith Drive, south-west of Meadows.
DIT says these works will extend the service life of the structure and improve safety for road users and will take around two weeks.
During this time a temporary detour will be in place via Pottery Road, Pennys Hill Road, Oakley Road, McLaren Flat Road, Dashwood Gully Road to Brookman Road and vice versa.
Full details can be viewed online.
There will also be a road closure in Goolwa Beach this week, with the 4WD beach access track out of bounds for all vehicles and pedestrians for two days.
Asphalt works have been scheduled for Thursday and Friday 4 and 5 May.
Meanwhile, Alexandrina Road will remain partially closed between Brookvale Road and Tucker Road, with traffic management in place until July 2023.
