Several Victor Harbor roads will be closed this Saturday, 14 December, to allow for the annual Christmas Pageant to take place along the foreshore.
The pageant will begin at 5.30pm, travelling from Bridge Terrace along Flinders Parade and the Esplanade, before finishing with the arrival of Father Christmas at Warland Reserve. The evening will conclude with community Christmas carols on the lawns.
To ensure the event can run safely, the following roads will be closed from 3.30pm to 7pm:
Bridge Terrace (Grantley Avenue to Eyre Terrace)
Eyre Terrace (Hindmarsh Road to Bridge Terrace)
Flinders Parade (Eyre Terrace to Granite Island Road)
Coral Street (McKinlay Street to Flinders Parade)
Esplanade (Granite Island Road to King Street)
Albert Place (Esplanade to Railway Terrace)
Motorists are advised to plan ahead, follow detours, and allow extra time when travelling through the Victor Harbor precinct on Saturday afternoon.
