Police are investigating a robbery at Moana today.

About 12pm on Tuesday 12 March, police were called to a supermarket on Babbacombe Drive after reports a man armed with a knife entered the store, threatened staff and stole a cash register.

The man left in a van which was last seen travelling north on Commercial Road.

Thankfully no one was injured.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 30’s and wearing a grey jumper.

Southern District patrols are currently searching the area with the assistance of Dog Operations and PolAir.
