In yet another casualty of COVID-19, the 2021 Victor Harbor Rock N’ Roll Festival has been cancelled for the second year running.

The City of Victor Harbor festival committee says it made the difficult decision to cancel the mid-September event due to COVID-19 uncertainty.

“The Rock N’ Roll Festival is a large-scale annual event that requires extensive coordination from various stakeholders, including the committee, the Historic Motor Vehicles Club, council staff, sponsors, stallholders and performers.

“Uncertainty relating to the spread of COVID-19 interstate, local activity restrictions, and the ability to establish a safe and enjoyable event have made planning for the festival unfeasible this year.

“The City of Victor Harbor would like to thank stakeholders and community members for their support and understanding.”

The festival has been a huge success in previous years, drawing people to the region, and the committee hopes to present it again in 2022.
