The City of Victor Harbor will outsource management of its annual Rock'n'Roll festival, held on the south coast each September.
It has called for expressions of interest from individuals, businesses or community groups who would like to help to grow the event.
The 2023 festival was held on Warland Reserve over the weekend of 16 and 17 September.
It typically features live music with open air dance floors, vintage vehicle displays, memorabilia and market stalls.
The council will initially outsource festival management for a two-year period.
Under the arrangement the festival manager will take on logistical planning, organisation, marketing, and execution of the festival in conjunction with the Historic Motor Vehicles Club, which manages the event’s vehicle displays.
The council will negotiate a sponsorship package with the successful applicant to support the effective delivery of the event.
Full details of the Rock'n'Roll festival can be found on the council website and an event brief has been prepared for potential applicants.
Expressions of interest close on Friday 3 November.
