Victor Harbor won their second game of the season after an upset 16-point win against Goolwa/Port Elliot during round 9 action in the Great Southern Football League ‘A’ Grade Women’s competition at Victor Harbor today. ‘Victor’ led at every change before winning 4.2 (26) to 1.4 (10). Skye Kartinyeri-Sumner was named best on ground for the ‘Roos and she was well supported by Jaimee Millard, Olivia Nobbs, Demi Morse, Lauren Cousins and Halle Crowe. Best players for the Magpies included Ellie Fry, Renee Moon, Lucy Earl, Indi Miller, Annabel Cameron and Madison Bayley.

Willunga have reached the bye weekend undefeated and in top spot on the ladder following their 59-point win over Yankalilla/Encounter Bay at Willunga today. The Demons were led by vice-captain Tamara Page (2 goals), Kirstin Remfrey, Jodie Hunt, Caitlin Radbone, Jessica Kirk (2 goals) and Cleo Guilfoyle. Bella Rigby and Ruby Thomas also kicked two goals for the Demons as they won 8.12 (60) to 0.1 (1). Kate Sanders, Czenya Cavouras, Mahli Littlely, Matisse Hunter, Eve Jansen and Tanya Littlely were named best for the Stingrays. 

Reigning premier McLaren Districts consolidated their top-two spot with a comfortable 58-point win against Myponga-Sellicks on Friday night. The Eagles won 9.6 (60) to 0.2 (2) with Abby Woodward kicking two goals. Best players for McLaren Districts included Charlotte Watson, Zahli Grund, Makenzie Bryowsky, Caitlin Ross, Woodward and Cadence Bryowsky. The Mudlarks were best served by Eden Coleman, Carla Humphrys, Sarah Stanbury, Brianah Kennewell, Grace Deacon and Jacinta Wilson.
