Parndana won their first game of the 2023 Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) season after a 17-point win against Dudley United at Penneshaw during round three action yesterday. James Davis (3), Sam Bowden (2), and Korelle Wintinna (2) were the multiple goalkickers for Parndana, while Nathan Dickson and Trae Lovering kicked three goals each for Dudley United. Best players for Parndana included Bailey Gaskin, Frank May, Zach Trethewey, Will Stanton, and Jaan Kuchel. Sam McLeay, Chris Denholm, Lovering, Rory Florance, and Brody Florance were named best for Dudley United.


Wisanger consolidated their position in the top-two with a tight eight-point win against Kingscote yesterday. The Panthers led at every change before winning 7.12 (54) to 6.10 (46). Sam Clifford and Luke Shurven kicked two goals each for Wisanger, while Anthony Anderson kicked three goals for Kingscote. Jason Fryar was named best for Wisanger and he was well supported by Luke Stewart, Brodee Williams, Jordan Ackland, and Dusty Cross. Best for Kingscote included Rory Lovering, Jack Grimes, Lachlan Summers, Corey Kelly, and Zak Edwards.


Western Districts had the bye.
