Dog of the Week – Oreo

Meet Oreo (AID 182864).

Just like the human snack, Oreo is a sweet as a precious pooch can get.

Oreo is an older gentleman, but don’t let that fool you – this stud of a Staffy is full of life with a pep in his step.

This affectionate boy would love to spend his golden years surrounded by love, treats and toys.

If you’re looking for someone special to cuddle up with on the couch and watch your favourite tv shows with you, then Oreo might just be the man of your dreams.

Having spent more than enough time at RSPCA SA’s Lonsdale shelter, Oreo does not wish to share the spotlight with other dog residents in his fur-ever home (and rightly so!).

Cat of the Week – Storm

Get to know Storm (AID 184426).

This beautiful boy has been waiting for over 80 days at RSPCA SA’s Lonsdale shelter to find his purr-fect match.

At only one years old, this darling boy has had to ride out a few storms and is ready to settle in paradise.

Storm can be a little shy around new people, so he needs a patient owner who understands that it can take time to build a lasting bond (treats will speed up the process).

Storm enjoys a good pat, but also appreciates his independence at times.

Once Storm has established trust with you, he’ll celebrate with lots of kneading.

In fact, RSPCA’s cat-care team refer to Storm as a “purrfessional baker”.

Storm is open to sharing his home with other fur-residents, but a slow introduction is recommended to ensure a smooth transition.
