The RSPCA SA is set to launch its first Op Shop outside metropolitan Adelaide on the south coast.
The store will be located at 30 Ocean Street in Victor Harbor.
The grand opening will be held on Saturday 11 December from 9am to 5pm and promises some ‘pawsome’ bargains.
The RSPCA is looking for volunteers to help staff the shop. Visit the website for more information and an online application form. Volunteers would need to be aged 18 or over.
The store will accept donations of clothing, accessories, homewares, toys, books, DVDs, and Manchester.
The RSPCA cannot accept donations of electrical goods, underwear, bathers, mattresses, doonas or pillows.
Unfortunately, like many charities, they spend many thousands of dollars each year disposing of dirty, damaged or poor-quality donations and ask that people only donate clean items in good condition and of a quality they would happily pass on to a friend.
The RSPCA SA helps approximately 8000 animals each year.
