RSPCA's Pets of the Week: Badger and Dolly PurtonBadger & Dolly Purton

Meet the lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA Lonsdale Shelter.

Badger and Dolly Purton are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week. These loving animals are waiting to find their perfect family. If you think that could be you, read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Badger

Beautiful Badger (AID 184602) has been waiting over 100 days at RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter to find his special someone.

Badger is a goofy boy who loves to let his personality shine, and so he should because he’s amazing. Enrichment activities and toys are Badger’s favourite as they provide him with hours of excitement and entertainment.

A smart cookie, Badger picks up new tricks quickly and would love to expand his skillset with some force-free training classes. This sweet boy has the biggest heart and deserves to find his happily ever after.

And really, who could anyone resist a handsome face like that? Though Badger has made lots of canine friends during his time in care, he'd prefer not to share his home with one or young children.

Cat of the Week - Dolly Purton

Ladies and gentlemen, put your paws together for Dolly Purton (AID 185859). With a name like that, there’s only one word to describe this gorgeous gal – supawstar!

A kind-hearted kitty with lots of love to give, Dolly would be the pawfect feline friend to give you love and companionship from 9 to 5 and beyond. Dolly can be a little nervous in new environments, but with a little patience and a lot of love, she’ll be shining like a star in no time.

Dolly enjoys a good pat but would prefer to keep her paws on the floor rather than be picked up. She dreams of living in a happy home without young children and other fur-residents, where she can be the leading lady all day long.
