Humphrey and Oscar are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week. These loving animals are waiting to find their perfect family. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Humphrey

Humphrey (AID 175705) is an Irish Wolfhound cross who was surrendered by his time-poor owner in mid-October.

This lovable four-year-old is often seen carrying huge teddies in his mouth like a big baby, and loves to play.

He would make a great addition to a family with older children or anyone who has the time to give this big boy some positive training and all the love and attention he deserves.

Cat of the Week – Oscar

Oscar (AID 177770) may not be the most beautiful cat, but what he lacks in looks he more than makes up for in personality!

He came to the RSPCA via animal ambulance last October after a Modbury Heights resident heard him crying.

He had clearly endured a rough time on the streets but after some vet care he’s feeling great and has become a favourite with staff.

He loves everyone he sees and will happily be your little shadow, lovingly head bumping your legs as you prepare his meals, offering little meows of encouragement.

This four-year-old cat with attitude is best suited to a home without small children because, while he appreciates affection and attention (and returns it in droves), he sometimes needs some space.
