RSPCA's Pets of the Week : Minnow and HarryLovely Minnow and Harry are looking for their forever homes.

Meet the lovable Pets of the Week, looking for forever homes at the RSPCA Lonsdale Shelter.

Minnow and Harry are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week. These loving animals are waiting to find their perfect family. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Cat of the Week – Harry

RSPCA SA’s Lonsdale cat-care team have been caring for Handsome Harry (AID 182400) since he arrived at the shelter almost two months ago.

As his name suggests, this one-year-old, brown tabby cat is a sight for sore eyes.

Harry can be a little shy around new people, so he needs a patient owner who understands that building a lifelong relationship can take time (food bribes will help speed up the process).

Once Harry lets you into his heart, he will reward your patience with endless love and joy.

Since loud noises and sudden movements can make Harry a little jumpy, he dreams of living in a quite home with no young children.

Harry is open to sharing the spotlight with other pet residents, but like with humans, he prefers a slow introduction to any new furry friends.

As with all RSPCA animals, Harry is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with parasite prevention.

Dog of the Week – Minnow

Magnificent Minnow (AID 128068) arrived at RSPCA SA’s Lonsdale shelter 70 days ago after she was surrendered by her owner.

Minnow is six years old but a big baby at heart.

This gorgeous girl is very affectionate and loves to shower her favourite people with cuddles and kisses.

Since Minnow can get a little anxious at times, especially during a storm, she needs a loving and quiet home, without kids or other fur-residents, where she can feel safe and secure.

When Minnow is not busy being the purr-fect snuggle buddy, she enjoys exploring her surroundings and playing with enrichment toys.

With their expertise on dog behaviour, the RSPCA dog-care team will be on hand to help Minnow settle into her new home.
