RSPCA's Pets of the week: Teddy and HunterTeddy and Hunter are looking for their new forever homes - can you help?

Meet the lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA Lonsdale Shelter.

Teddy and Hunter are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week. These loving animals are waiting to find their perfect family. If you think that could be you, read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Hunter

Hunter (AID 185377) is desperately waiting at RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter to find his furever home.

This handsome older gentleman is destined to find a happy family who will love him unconditionally. He dreams of going on long beach walks, playing with his enrichment toys in the backyard, and enjoying power naps in front of the TV.

Hunter does find interactions with other dogs a bit uncomfortable, so he’s not suitable to live with one, but don't let that put you off - that just means you get Hunter’s attention and love all to yourself. That’s a big win!

Cat of the Week – Teddy

Teddy (AID 185880) is one of many golden oldies currently waiting to find their purrfect match at RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter.

He is a kind and curious cat, with a heart of gold. Teddy may be an older gentleman, but he’s young at heart and loves to have fun, so an enclosed yard or cat run would be amazing for this cool cat.

While Teddy enjoys affection and the company of humans, he also values his independence at times and requires a considerate owner who can understand his needs.

He would love a quiet and happy home without young kids or other fur-residents, where he can make the most of his twilight years.
