Meet the lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA Lonsdale Shelter.

Zazu and Connie are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week. These loving animals are waiting to find their perfect family. If you think that could be you, read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Connie

Courageous Connie (AID 185274) is one of many dogs desperately waiting to find their furever home at RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter.

At only seven months old, this gorgeous girl has got so much life ahead of her and she deserves loving and supportive pawrents (adults and older children only) to share it with.

Connie has experienced her fair share of challenges and has recently recovered from eye surgery, but she’s now ready to find her pawfect match.

Connie can be a little shy around new people at first, but with a little patience and a lot of love, she’ll be your best friend in no time. As she is still a baby, Connie would highly benefit from force-free dog training classes.

Since she’s a smart lady who loves her food, it’ll no doubt be easy as pie for her. Connie is open to sharing her home with another dog resident, but please bring your dog in to meet her first.

Read more about Connie and learn how to adopt her.

Cat of the Week – Zazu

Meet Zazu (AID 184969), this handsome boy came into RSPCA South Australia’s care as a stray after he was found wandering at the Zoo.

It may not surprise you to learn that Zazu is an adventurer, and he loves the great outdoors, so access to a cat run would be ideal for this curious cat.

Zazu is also a foodie at heart and loves eating treats and dry biscuits from a puzzle feeder (did we mention he’s a smart cookie?). His life hasn’t been easy, and so he can be a little wary around new people.

He requires patient purr-rents who will allow him the time to settle into his new home at his own pace.

Once Zazu has come out of his shell, he will gratefully accept pats (treats first though, thanks!) and relish your company. He does not wish to share his home with dogs or young children but is open to living with other cat residents.

Find out more about Zazu and how to adopt him.
