The McLaren Vale Running Festival will be held on Sunday 15 October and road restrictions will apply to several of the town’s streets.

The race starts and finishes on the grounds of Hardys Tintara Cellar door on Main Road.

Traffic restrictions will apply to Main Road, between McLaren Vale Hotel and Shiraz Trail, from 8.30am to 11.30am.

Chalk Hill Road, between Old Mill Court and Main Road, will be affected from 7.45am to 10.15am.

The half marathon course takes in the Shiraz Trail between McLaren Vale and Willunga, with a loop along the rail trail between McLaren Vale and Seaford. 

The 10km and 5km courses are a fast dash towards Willunga and back.

The event is organised by the South Australian Road Runners and Walkers Club and is part of the Triple Vine Series.
