SA Health advise student at Woodville High has tested positive to COVID-19

A COVID-19 health alert has been issued in relation to a case of COVID-19 in the South Australian community.


One new positive case of COVID-19 has been identified in a female student from Woodville High School.


Anyone who attended Woodville High School, 11 Actil Avenue St Clair, on Monday 23 November 2020 must isolate immediately with all members of their household until further notice.


Further advice will be provided to all staff, students and their families/caregivers as soon as possible.


Woodville High School will be closed tomorrow to undergo deep cleaning and to allow SA Health to conduct detailed contact tracing and risk assessment.


Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should present for testing as soon as possible.

·       Anyone who develops symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how mild, should seek testing as soon as symptoms present.

·       COVID-19 symptoms include:

·       fever OR chills (with no alternative illness that explains these symptoms)

·       cough

·       sore throat

·       runny nose

·       shortness of breath

·       loss of taste or smell

·       Stay home while awaiting results.

·       Wash/sanitise hands regularly.

·       Keep 1.5 metres from others, wherever possible.

·       Clean frequently touched surfaces regularly.
