Work has begun on a playground upgrade for Tuck Reserve, in Hayborough.

City of Victor Harbor is replacing and relocating playground equipment, including a new double swing set, tower and slide.

The council says the existing play equipment is more than 25 years old and has reached the end of its useful life.

It expects that all works will be complete by April 2024, subject to any unexpected delays.

South Australian contractor Playmazing has been engaged for the supply and installation of the playground equipment.

Tuck Reserve is located at Hicks Court next to the site of the proposed new ambulance station.

Full details of community parks located in the City of Victor Harbor can be found on its website.
