Sail a new revenue stream with the wooden boast festival

Business Alexandrina is encouraging local businesses to create an event in the weeks surrounding the Goolwa Wooden Boat Festival.

With increased visitation to the area, it says the festival provides an opportunity to promote businesses, service or products.

It will offer a free workshop to help local businesses learn how to leverage festivals, to be held on Tuesday 22 November from 11am to 12.30pm at The Hub in Goolwa.

The next South Australian Wooden Boat Festival will be held 28 to 30 April next year.

Business Alexandrina has created the Business Engagement Program for local businesses to prepare and support them leading up to next year’s event.

The workshop is designed for local businesses throughout Alexandrina  to better understand how they can leverage the opportunity of increased visitation to the region during the festival time.

It will be relevant for all small to medium sized businesses who want to increase or create new revenue streams.

It is free for business owners and their staff to attend. Book a place via Eventbrite.
