Western Districts has won the 2019 Kangaroo Island Netball Association (KINA)  ‘A’ grade premiership with a tight 52-48 victory over perennial powerhouse Dudley United at Kingscote. Minor premier Western Districts had finished a game clear of reigning premier Dudley United at the end of the minor round and then defeated them by nine goals in the second semi-final before Dudley United bounced back with a 19-goal victory in the Preliminary Final.

It was the fifth time the two sides would meet for 2019 with Western Districts’ fourth win being the most crucial as they took the premiership. It was a big day for Western Districts as they claimed the ‘C’ grade, 15 & under, 13 & under and 11 & under titles as well. Wisanger won the ‘B’ grade and ‘D’ grade premierships to round out another great season in the KINA.
