We’ve received information from a very reliable source that the Santa will be gadding about on the South Coast tomorrow.

Don’t look up for his sleigh because he’s given the reindeer the day off.

Instead, he’ll be travelling by Cockle Train.

If you’re very lucky you might see him at a station, in a carriage or even giving a wave from a window as the train puffs from Goolwa through Middleton and Port Elliot to Victor Harbor.

It seems he enjoyed being part of the Southern Encounter Steam Ranger train so much earlier this year he’s decided to ride the rails again. 

He might even be turning into a train buff.

The Cockle Train operates every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday until December 27 when the service will run daily for the rest of the summer holidays.
