Hills Fleurieu Crime Prevention Section of SAPOL will offer a presentation on scams and what to look out for at Strathalbyn Library on Wednesday 14 February.
It will delve into the prevalent issue of scams that persistently impact communities across the state.
SAPOL says the alarming rise in various types of scams has become a significant concern, affecting individuals from all walks of life.
The event aims to shed light on the diverse range of scams that cause people great distress and explore ways to protect against them and avoid falling victim to deceptive practices.
The free workshop will run from 10am to 11am; reserve a place via Eventbrite.
