The school holidays have rolled around again and there are plenty of free and low cost activities on offer around the Fleurieu.
The South Australian Nature Festival has inspired many events; here is just a small sample of what is available for kids and families.
ALEXANDRINA
Alexandrina Libraries has programs, workshops and events at the Goolwa and Strathalbyn branches.
These include construction, embroidery, wooden sliding puzzles and papermaking with seeds. Everyone is welcome. Book via Eventbrite.
GOOLWA
Let’s Get Tricky at Centenary Hall with magician Mickster the Trickster in a funny and interactive magic show for all ages on Friday 1 October. Cost $5.
ONKAPARINGA
Learn tumbling, hula hoops, juggling, plate spinning and more at an afternoon filled with circus fun at the Aldinga Community Centre on Tuesday 5 October. For ages 8-15; cost $10. Book via the website.
Kite and pinwheel making, Inky fingers comic book gang, decorate a nature window, ochre play and make your own bug catcher are just a few of the activities at Aldinga, Noarlunga and Willunga branches of Onkaparinga Libraries.

VICTOR HARBOR
The Victor Harbor Library Nature Festival program includes nature collage, bird houses and seed pod macrame.

Old MacDonald's Travelling Farm will be at Victor Central shopping centre on 1 and 2 October from 10am to 3pm for free pats and cuddles.
YANKALILLA DISTRICT
The Yankalilla library will host Creative Hangout Spring Holidays, with free rock painting; Designing and Creating with Lego and Duplo; and Experience nature through STEAM.
