There is another week to go of the school holidays but activities start to wind down as everyone prepares to get back to class.
COVID-19 has limited the scale and scope of many school holiday programs this summer, but there is still fun to be found across the Fleurieu.
Here is what is on for the kids next week, from 18-24 January.

Tuesday 19 January
Sun Catchers - 10-11am. FREE. Bookings Essential.
Suitable for ages 5 and above.
Create your own design or use one supplied to brighten up your room with a sun catcher.
Goolwa Community Centre, at 25 Cadell Street, also offers daily activities from 10am-12noon for ages 5-8 and 1-3pm for ages 8-13. Cost is $5.

Monday 18 January
Inflatable Run – 1.30-3.30pm. Suitable for ages 6+ who are confident swimmers in deep water.
Take on the inflatable obstacle course.
Tuesday 19 January
Cheap Tuesday 10am-2pm $2 entry for kids 4-15 years.
Wednesday 20 January
Inflatable Run – 1.30-3.30pm. Suitable for ages 6+ who are confident swimmers in deep water.
Take on the inflatable obstacle course.
Thursday 21 January
Swing n Splash -12.30-2pm. Suitable for ages 6+ who are confident swimmers in deep water.
Jump, swing, soar and splash with a giant inflatable rope swing.

Tuesday 19 January
Create Your Own Cartoon Character - 1-2pm.
FREE Bookings Essential. Suitable for ages 7 and under.
Enjoy fun games, challenges and laughter while creating your own cartoon character. No Artistic ability needed for this fun-filled activity.
Unfinished Cartoon Masterpieces & Tricks Of The Trade – 2-3pm.
FREE Bookings Essential. Suitable for ages 7 and above.
Come and learn some tricks of the trade and create your very own cartoon masterpiece.
10 Live Caricatures - 3-4pm.
Attendance at one of the two cartoon workshops above will give you a chance of having your name drawn as a winner of the live caricature sittings. Good Luck!

Offers Inflatable Fun Sessions 1.30-3.30pm on weekend during the whole summer season and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during the school holidays.

Learn about the weird fishes of the Fleurieu. Suitable for all ages.

Friday 22 January
Legomation Workshop - 10.30am-12.30pm & 1.30-3.30pm.
For ages 6+.
GooRoo's Lego Animation workshop teaches kids how to create their very own ‘Brick Films’. The participants will get a behind the scenes glimpse of what goes into producing animation on a professional level. They will then learn how to bring Lego to life using the Stop Motion Studio App available on mobile devices. The finished videos will be screened to the group and uploaded to YouTube via the GooRoo Animation Workshops channel to be shared with friends and family. The workshops are designed to inspire and provide the knowledge and tools to start making movies at home.

ONKAPARINGA
The City of Onkaparinga will offer Indoor craft and storytime at its various libraries as well as outdoor activities such as creating mandalas on the beach and taking a guided reef ramble.
