The Fleurieu Aquatic Centre will host activities for kids aged five to 15, in and out of the water, in the upcoming October school holidays.

On Tuesdays 1 and 8 October there will be self-guided garden games between 11am and 2pm.

On Wednesdays 2 and 8 October splash with style on the awesome rope swing between 1.30 and 3pm.

Join in the treasure hunt on Thursdays 3 and 10 October between 1 and 2.30pm, when you can grab a map and follow the clues to claim your reward.

Get busy and enjoy fun, free craft activities before or after a swim on Fridays 4 and 11 October between 1 and 2pm.

Be a gladiator on Sundays 6 and 13 October, climbing and swinging as you take on the mega splash inflatable challenge. The obstacle course will cover the whole 25-metre pool and so is only suitable for swimmers who are confident in deep water.

The YMCA has made the centre more accessible for kids all year round by granting Fleurieu Aquatic Centre members free membership for their children aged under 10.

The move is to encourage a more active lifestyle and improve wellbeing.

Free Child Membership is designed to make it easier for a visit to Fleurieu Aquatic Centre to become ‘family time’. 

There is a complimentary Kids Club that children can attend while parents exercise, then afterwards the family can use the pools or splash park and outside areas to play games.
