School holidays are right around the corner for South Australian kids and the Fleurieu region has lots of activities on offer.
Week one of school holidays runs from 5 to 12 July.
ALEXANDRINA
Make a Kalimba at Goolwa library or Make a Photo Frame at Strathalbyn library on Tuesday 6 July.

GOOLWA
Marty McBubble and his amazing Scientific Bubble Show will return to Goolwa Centenary Hall on Thursday 8 July at 2pm. For 45 minutes, children aged between 4 and 10 will be amazed by bubble creations like they’ve never seen before.
Entry costs $5 and children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets available online.
SOUTHERN VALES
There is a lot to choose from in the southern vales area these school holidays and many activities are low cost or free.
They include swimming, kite surfing, roller skating, jumping castle and animal farm, tie-dye clothing sessions, food art, and sport clinics such as basketball and netball.
Create Your Own Finger Knitting Loom at Willunga Library on Tuesday 6 July, or attend a NAIDOC Week Children's Art Workshop at Aldinga library on Wednesday 7 July.

VICTOR HARBOR
Victor Harbor Library will showcase activities like dot mosaic painting, cardboard Didgeridoo making, experiencing Aboriginal Australia through virtual reality, as well as their continuing Little Bang Discovery sessions.
Registration for these events is free, but bookings are required so make sure you get in quick to secure a spot for your child.
Victor Central Shopping Centre will offer free kids craft on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 July from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
YANKALILLA DISTRICT
Free morning activities at Yankalilla Library include Making your own musical instrument on Tuesday 6 July and a Lego Challenge on Wednesday 7 July.

FLEURIEU OUTDOORS
If the weather is favourable, the Fleurieu has some pretty amazing walking trails and recreation parks on offer, and as a bonus – most of them are free.
Some locations include:

o Bristow Smith Reserve Nature Playspace in Goolwa South.
o Onkaparinga River National Park in Kangarilla.
o Sturt Gorge Recreation Park in Flagstaff Hill.
