Introduction to Theatre workshop - Ages 7–14.
An opportunity for children to explore the basics of theatre and improvisational techniques.
During the session they will learn general stage craft and create five minute skits to perform at the end. The art of theatre sports is used to help fire the imagination and creative process. A great session for those with active minds and energy to burn.

Lego Taskers - Make a model from memory - team challenge. For children 5+.
Register individually or make a team with the aim of building the fastest car you can in 30 minutes. (Individuals who register will be placed in a team of 3-4 on the day).

Holiday Story time and Craft - Celeste the Giraffe loves to laugh. For all ages.
Celeste was a friendly, happy little giraffe. She had a kind heart and she made others laugh. But Celeste sometimes worried that she wasn't enough. It seemed like other animals did much cooler stuff.
Thursday 9 January - 10.30am.
3D Printing Workshop. For children 8+.
Using the online program TinkerCad, design your own 3D Object that can be printed on the Library 3D printer.
You will need to take a USB so you can save your work. Due to the time it takes to print an item in 3D, models may only be able to be designed in this session. Some models may be able to be printed, time permitting, or the printing will take place over the following few weeks and the library will let participants know when their item is ready for collection.
Friday 10 January – 2pm.
Holiday Craft - Scrunch Art. Ages 3+.
Create a mosaic picture using scrunchy paper.
