School opens its doors to the community

The new Goolwa Secondary College has invited the community to attend its open afternoon tomorrow, Tuesday 30 August.

The school will be open to the public after classes, from 3.30pm to 5pm, with the opportunity to take a tour and meet the college community.

Guided tours will run at 3.30pm, 4pm and 4.30pm, leaving from the front of the administration building.

Families and the community are also welcome to take themselves on a self-guided tour, with  maps and information available to those who want to go it alone.

Goolwa Secondary College is at the corner of Cadell Street and Glendale Grove, the site of the old Glendale school and a former campus of Investigator College.

It became the second state high school on the south coast, along with Victor Harbor High School, when it opened to students in term one this year.

Its motto is Realising New Possibilities - Wurru-walun paldangk. Find out more about the school on its website.
