Tickets for the 2021 Schoolies Festival in Victor Harbor are now on sale.

The event was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic but organisers of the event, Encounter Youth, are expecting this year’s Festival to go ahead on 19 – 21 November.

In previous years the festival has attracted up to 10 000 school leavers.

This year Encounter Youth have partnered with the two Victor Harbor caravan parks and the Port Elliot Holiday Park to offer accommodation and ticket packages.

For example, for the price of $881 per person, schoolies can get their three-day festival ticket plus three nights of accommodation in a 6-guest Seaview Villa at the NRMA Victor Harbor Beachfront Holiday Park.

 The first official schoolies festival was established in 1999 when there had already been a tradition of Adelaide students coming to Victor Harbor for post-year 12 celebrations for some years.

The festival was established to try and make the event more organised and make the most of the potential tourism.
