South Australia Police conducted ‘Operation Schoolies’ from 17 to 20 November and reported good behaviour from the majority of participants.

Police arrested a 40-year-old man for allegedly stealing a vehicle.

One person was reported for carrying a prohibited weapon – they were not attending Schoolies, while another person was reported for drink driving.

Police issued eight general expiation notices to Schoolies participants and one to a non-school leaver.

In relation to traffic, Police issued two traffic infringement notices to Schoolies participants and one to a non-school leaver.

A drug diversion was also issued to a Schoolies participant.
