American River Progress Association will host an evening of presentations around the future of ecotourism and dealing with the Harmful Algal Bloom on Tuesday 7 October.
Guest speakers will be leader in South Australian ecotourism Manny Katz and marine ecologist Dr Dominic Mcafee.
They will discuss how tourism serves as a powerful tool for science communication, community engagement, and seasonal economic stability.
Dr Mcafee will also share his pioneering research into oyster reef restoration.
President of the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Network Katie Welz will open the session and the presentations will be followed by a Q&A.
