Seniors card members discounts

South Australian Seniors Card members will be able to access hundreds of great savings, discounts, and ideas with the 2021 Discount Directory Your Lifestyle Guide available now.

Director of the Office for Ageing Well, Cassie Mason says the easy-to-read guide offers a wide range of discounts on everything from travel, home and garden, to professional services, retail and recreational  activities.

“While it has been released a little later than usual, the 2021 edition of the Your Lifestyle Guide boasts new discounts and more useful information for older South Australians,” Ms Mason says.

“It’s a great way for South Australian seniors to stay active and engaged in their communities no matter where they live, by inspiring members to try out a new hobby, dine out at a new restaurant or learn a new skill.

“I would like to thank the hundreds of generous South Australian businesses who have provided so many great offers to the over sixties, particularly during these challenging times.”

Your Lifestyle Guide contains valuable information about technology and online safety, concessions, planning ahead, energy saving and consumer advice like buying a car or house, ladder safety, online shopping, refunds and scams.

The Directory also showcases original photographs submitted by Seniors Card members as part of the  2020 Through the Lens photographic competition.

Seniors Card members can pick up a copy of Your Lifestyle Guide from one of 400 collection points  across South Australia, including The Catalyst Foundation, local councils, Members of Parliaments’ offices, libraries and community centres.

An online version of the directory is also available at www.sa.gov.au/seniorscard and features interactive  functions for easy navigation to each business partner’s website.

In addition to the directory, Seniors Card members can keep up to date with the latest information and  discounts by subscribing to WeekendPlus, the digital magazine for older South Australians, opting in to  special offers by post and email, and by following the Seniors Card SA Facebook page at  www.facebook.com/seniorscardsa

Permanent South Australian residents aged over 60 and working less than 20 hours per week in paid  employment are eligible to be a South Australian Seniors Card member.
