Update 1907hrs: All roads have reopened following a serious crash at McLaren Vale this afternoon.
About 3.30pm Sunday 25 April emergency services were called to the intersection of Main Road and McMurtrie Road after a Hyundai sedan and a Mitsubishi wagon collided.
Three people in the Hyundai, a 70-year-old woman, 72-year-old woman and 89-year-old woman along with two people in the Mitsubishi, a 77-year-old man and 73-year-old woman were all taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The intersection of Main Road and Johnson Road was closed while Major Crash Investigators attended the scene, but has now been reopened and the cars towed.
