A passenger in the Kia, a 57-year-old Hallett Cove woman, was also taken to Flinders Medical Centre where she is being treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the Mazda, a 25-year-old Sheidow Park man, was conveyed to Flinders Medical Centre and treated for minor injuries. About 11.30pm Sunday 21 March he was arrested and charged with two counts of cause harm by dangerous driving and driving disqualified. He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Berrima Road was closed for several hours while Major Crash Officers attended the scene but has since been reopened.
