Just after 1.30am on Tuesday 24 October a Ford Sedan crashed into a marked police car travelling east on Seaview Road, Victor Harbor, causing the police vehicle to roll several times.
The police driver, a 38-year old man, and his female 36-year-old passenger received minor injuries, which were treated at South Coast District Hospital and they have since been discharged.
Both officers are Senior Constables based in the Hills Fleurieu Local Service Area.
The 48-year-old female driver of the Ford sustained serious, life threatening injuries and was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre.
The male passenger was not injured.
Seaview Road was closed for several hours while Major Crash Investigators investigated the cause of the crash but has since reopened.
