A man has been arrested following a robbery in Victor Harbor yesterday evening.

Just after 7pm Monday 10 April police were called to a service station on Hindmarsh Road after reports a man had entered, threatened staff with a weapon and made off with cash.

There were no injuries.

Local patrols attended and searched the area, quickly locating the suspect nearby and arresting him without incident.

The 45-year-old man was charged with aggravated robbery.  He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.
