Aldinga had a massive 200-point victory against Hackham to give themselves an outside chance at a finals berth during round 12 action in the Southern Football League Women’s ‘A’ grade competition yesterday. The Sharks led by 56 points at quarter time, 111 points at halftime, and 154 points at the last change, before winning 32.8 (200) to 0.0 (0). Aldinga had eight different goalkickers with Dana Oniszk leading the way with eight goals, while India Hamdorf kicked six. Best players for Aldinga included Amber O’Hanlon, Oniszk, Hamdorf, Eilish O’Hanlon and Kimberly Robinson. Hackham were best served by Carol Karo, Kaylah Richards, Ashleigh Dayman, Olivia Cumming and Sarah Bensen.

Reynella continued their unbeaten run in 2022 with a convincing 59-point win at Port Noarlunga yesterday. The Wine Flies led by 37 points at halftime and kicked a further three goals in the second half to win 8.11 (59) to 0.0 (0). Emily Woods (3), Georgia Scholes (2) and Allana Nimmo-Lyne (2) were the multiple goalkickers for Reynella, while their best players included Zannah Loxton, Tyler Davies, Grace Doran, Anja Bancevic and Morgan Blackwell. Best players for ‘Porties’ were Elisha Scriven, Philippa Worthley, Shakira Dolman, Nikki Parker and Teegan Mesecke. 

Christies Beach won their fourth game of the season to remain in fourth spot after defeating Cove by 36 points yesterday. The final score was Christies Beach 5.6 (36) to Cove 0.0 (0). Indiana Flynn kicked three goals for the Saints and their best players were Rachael Farlam, Isabella Zito, Melanie Koster, Maddison Wilson-Niessen and Liliana Volpato. Best players for the Cobras included Lauren Kenny, Mikala Graham, Ashleigh Need, Jemima Buss and Ella Gill.
