At around 2pm today, Friday 12 May, the Country Fire Service (CFS) was called to attend a structure fire on a private property at Yankalilla.

Three fire crews attended to find a shed well involved; the fire was contained and did not spread to an adjacent shed and nearby house.

The owner was home at the time but was not injured.

The shed was completely lost, with the value of the structure and contents estimated at $50,000.

Fire cause investigators have been called to the scene and fire crews remain on site to ensure safety of the scene.
