Six CFS crews with approximately 30 firefighters have saved a neighbouring house and are continuing to work on extinguishing a shed fire which has caused an estimated one million dollars of damage on a rural property in Tooperang, near Mount Compass.

The fire has damaged multiple vintage cars, including a Model T-Ford, which were being stored within the shed.

Firefighters have been working in warm conditions to contain the blaze, supported by SA Police and SA Ambulance.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown and Fire Investigators will attend the scene.
