The Fleurieu Connections Alliance (FCA) has given advance notice of a temporary road closure on Sherriff Road, Tatachilla this weekend.
As part of the Main South Road Duplication Project, new road pavement will be installed at the intersection of Sherriff Road and Main South Road.
Sherriff Road will be closed at the intersection with Main South Road from 7pm Friday, 17 March to 6am Monday, 20 March, weather permitting.
FCA has warned nearby residents to expect some noise disturbance and possible light spillage from mobile lighting towers.
It says access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained at all times during the works and access to properties will be maintained wherever possible.
Farms in the area undertaking vintage will be contacted by the project team to discuss and accommodate machinery movements wherever possible.
FCA has called for drivers to take extra care when workers are on site; observe speed limits, lane restrictions and traffic controllers when travelling through the area.

Fleurieu Connections Alliance has been contracted to upgrade both Main South Road and Victor Harbor Road.
The Main South Road duplication project will be completed on two stages, Stage One from Seaford to Aldinga and Stage Two from Aldinga to Sellicks Beach.
