Showtime comes to Kangaroo Island next weekend with the Kingscote Show on Saturday 28 October.

It will be held at Soldiers Memorial Park from 10am to 4pm, with the official opening at 12noon.

The fun will include Horses in Action and a dog show, as well as exhibitions.

Entry costs $10 for adults; $8 for pensioners; $2 for children aged 6 to 16 $2; free for those aged 5 and under.

It will be followed by the Parndana Show and Field Day on Saturday 11 November on the Parndana sports oval from 9am to 6pm.

There will be entertainment for the whole family, with a showcase of the best in competition from home cooks to farm produce.

Entry costs $12 for adults and $5 for pensioners, with children under 16 free. Find full details on the website.
