Cabana Beach kicks off the summer season in true Mediterranean style, with a pop up bar right on the silver sands of Port Noarlunga that’s open every day of the week during school holidays.
No need to pack shade, seating, food and drinks, as the Cabana Beach has all that covered.
On arrival, you’ll be greeted by a concierge who’ll show you to your sun lounge with matching umbrella, positioned overlooking the Port Noarlunga Jetty and azure waters.
Soak in the scene while enjoying ice cream, barista coffee and a light lunch, or be tempted by a selection of tropical cocktails, wine and beer.
Hire a snorkel or a paddle board from the promenade above or relax in the shade with a book. There’s no need to rush, for your luxury beachside experience is yours to enjoy until you are ready to leave.
Cabana Beach and soon-to-launch Cabana Club are extensions of Hortas restaurant, and inspired by Filipe Horta’s Portuguese heritage. “We wanted to bring more people this beautiful place, so we thought let’s bring the vibes of Portugal to the shores of Port Noarlunga,” Filipe says.
And the response has been outstanding.
International visitor Mindy Sipp and her family visited the Cabana Beach twice in just one week. “We absolutely love it here,” she says. “Your beaches are the best in the world and to enjoy them in style like this makes our holiday very special.”
Cabana Beach seats 50 guest, is licensed, and open 12 noon to 9pm (depending on weather) every day, except Christmas Day, until 26 January.
Cabana Club launches this weekend (Friday and Saturday 20 and 21 December) with live Latina music and dancing, as well as fine dining, on the promenade below Hortas restaurant on the Port Noarlunga esplanade. Open every evening until 26 January. Family friendly. No need to book.
