The 41 year old tandem instructor remains in hospital with serious but in a non-life threatening condition.
Skydive the Southern Vines have said “The tandem instructor has a fractured elbow and remains in hospital under observation.”
The 27 year old tandem passenger also involved in the incident has since been discharged from Hospital. According to the spokesperson for the business, they said he received “some minor bruising, otherwise ok and discharged from hospital last night.”
Other Skydivers on the same jump, safely made it to a nearby oval.
Circumstances on how it occurred are under investigation by Safework SA, Police and the Australian Parachute Federation.
