Aldinga Soccer Club will hold junior trials for girls and boys for its 2024 season from next Wednesday 11 October.
The club is hoping to grow the soccer community in the south as its new sports park facilities on Port Road are almost complete.
It club competes in the Junior State League run by Football South Australia.
The trials for boys from under 11s through to under 15s will be held on Wednesday 11 and Friday 13 October.
Trials for girls from under 9s through to under 17s will be held on Tuesday 17 and Thursday 19 October.
Arrival time for all sessions is 5.30pm, with trials from 6pm to 7pm.
The Aldinga Sports Park upgrade has been funded by a $2.2 million federal government grant, with additional funding from the City of Onkaparinga.
The Aldinga Soccer Club now has new, state of the art club rooms and change rooms with access to up to five full sized pitches with flood lighting.
It expects to get the keys this month and will move in preparation for season 2024.
The club started a women’s team in season 2022 and is keen for more women to get involved.
