ABC TV Gardening Australia presenter Sophie Thompson will share the joy of gardening at a workshop at Strathalbyn Town Hall on Thursday 27 November.

The author and radio broadcaster will discuss how the power of nature and gardens can connect people and help to build stronger communities.

She says gardens are more than just green spaces, they can improve wellbeing and contribute to a better physical and emotional environment.

This workshop is a collaboration between Alexandrina Council and Second Nature Conservancy. 

The Wellness in Nature project is supported by Office for Ageing Well, through the 2024-2025 Age Friendly SA grants program, and is also supported by Green Adelaide.

The session will run from 10am to 11.30am and costs $5; book tickets via Humanitix.
