South coast councils have announced further closures and restrictions to services in response to the federal government’s measures to help slow the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19.
Alexandrina Council changes take effect until April 30 unless otherwise advised.
All council-organised events, or those requiring volunteer support have been cancelled.
The Fleurieu Aquatic Centre and Strathalbyn Pool will remain closed until further notice.
Goolwa and Strathalbyn Libraries are open, but with reduced services including click and collect. All library programs have been cancelled. Milang and Port Elliot Library Depots will be closed, but the Mount Compass kiosk remains open.
The JP service will not be available.
Strathalbyn and Goolwa Visitor Information Centres and the Goolwa Riverboat Centre have been closed. The Old Police Station will remain open Monday to Friday, but Signal Point is closed.
The Goolwa Civic Centre will manage all customer service enquiries; the Strathalbyn Customer Service office is closed.

The library will have restricted access. Materials can be reserved online or via the new ‘call and collect’ service, with additional home delivery services available.
Library computers will be available by appointment and children’s programs will be live streamed.
The face-to-face information service at the Visitor Information Centre is closed, but online and telephone services will be available.
The South Australian Whale Centre and the Coral Street Art Space have been closed.
The Mainstreet Easter Hunt and Artisan Market have been cancelled.
