There will be music in the streets when Goolwa closes out the school holidays with its annual South Coast Jazz Festival next weekend of 14 to 16 October.
A former winner of the local Community Event of the Year, the festival offers a great weekend of lively jazz music.
This includes a free public concert on Saturday 15 October at the official opening ceremony at the Rotunda at 10am.
More than 80 great South Australian and Victorian musicians will perform in four venues and around the town, with a new band appearing each hour.
The venues are Centenary Hall, Anglican Church Hall, South Coast Regional Art Centre, and Goolwa RSL Club.
Weekend passes are available for Jazz Delegates to enter any of the venues to hear the music of their choice, and move on and around as they wish.
There are also individual tickets available for special events such as Jazz on the Cockle Train on Saturday and Sunday; and the Gospel Church Service and Farewell Dinner on Sunday.
