It’s all happening on the streets of Victor Harbor this weekend and drivers will need to navigate them carefully.

The Red Hot Summer Tour and the Sid James Victor Harbor Triathlons will take over the town, requiring road closures and traffic management across Encounter Bay and Victor Harbor.

Murewang-Kent Reserve will host the Red Hot Summer Concert on Saturday 11 March. Surrounding roads will be closed from 7am to midnight, with exemptions for event participants.

The Sid James Victor Harbor Triathlon will be held at Warland Reserve on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 March, also using the Esplanade carpark, surrounding roads and beach access.

Sections of Flinders Parade, The Esplanade and Albert Place will be closed from 1pm to 5.30pm on Saturday 11 March.

On Sunday 12 March, sections of Victoria Street, George Main Road, Mill Road, Maude Street, Inman Valley Road, Flinders Parade, The Esplanade, Albert Place, Newland Street and Island Street will be closed from 6.30am to 1.30pm.

Detours will be in place and The city of Victor Harbor has warned road users to plan ahead and expect delays. 

The council says emergency services access will be maintained throughout all road closures and resident and business access will be facilitated by traffic controllers.
