The Southern Football League (SFL) ‘A’ Grade Women’s competition starts on Sunday (24 April) with seven teams chasing premiership glory. Reigning premier Flagstaff Hill will be going for three flags in a row and will be hard to beat as always. Reynella has been runner-up the past two years so they’ll be desperate to go one better in 2022. Cove and Christies Beach both played finals last season, while Port Noarlunga, Aldinga and Hackham will be looking for sharp improvement to reach finals this season. There will be three games on Sunday (2.55pm start) with Cove Cobras having the bye. The Fleurieu App will have a full review of round one matches next week.
