The Southern Football League (SFL) resumes this Saturday (19/6) following the Queen’s Birthday long weekend break. The SFL enjoyed the return to interleague football at Strathalbyn with wins in the Senior Men, under 17.5 boys and under 15 boys fixtures. The ‘A’ grade competition has taken on a familiar look with Flagstaff Hill looking almost unbeatable as they seek a sixth consecutive flag. Reynella, Noarlunga, Happy Valley and Morphett Vale make up the top five at the halfway mark of the season and this top five seems set. Christies Beach, Port Noarlunga, Cove and Aldinga are outside the finals race by a couple of games and they’ll all hope to cause a few upsets on the run home.
