Southern Fringe on the Fleurieu

The Adelaide Fringe Festival spreads south from this weekend, with events and activities in Victor Harbor, Goolwa, the southern vales and Kangaroo Island.


Sunday 27 February is will be a big Fringe day in Victor Harbor, with the Artisan Market providing a colourful backdrop from 10am to 4pm.


The Fringe Caravan will roll into Warland Reserve from 12pm to 2pm for a free pop-up event.


Families are invited to take along a picnic rug and arrive early to soak up the festive atmosphere.


Kyla McHughes will give a Welcome to Country prior to the event, acknowledging the Ramindejeri and Ngarrindjeri people - Traditional Custodians of the land and surrounding waters of Victor Harbor.


In the evening the Adelaide Fringe Comedy Superstars will take over the Victa Cinema at 7pm.


Gordon Southern will MC the event, headlined by comedian Kevin Kropinyeri. Tickets available from fringetix.


On Sunday 13 March the Fringe Caravan will roll along to Goolwa, in the RSL Garden of Honour from 10.30am to 1.30pm.


All manner of performers, comedians, and characters delight audiences from 9 to 90 years of age.


Kangaroo Island will host its Fringe event on Saturday 26 March at The Shearing Shed on Eleanor Downs from 9am to 2pm.


It will feature an array of theatre, comedy, music and circus acts, set among the paddocks and gum trees.


Many events have been also been scheduled for Aldinga and the southern vales, encompassing music, comedy and circus and featuring the drone art show Sky Song in McLaren Vale.
